Welcome to the UGSA

Welcome to the official Web site of the University Graduate Student Association (UGSA). All graduate students at North Carolina State University are members of the UGSA.

This Web site is your gateway to finding out who we are and what we do. Please take the time to look around and find out about us, then take advantage of the many services we have to offer including funding for travel, theses, and block grants. We also provide a new student orientation every fall.

Organization

The UGSA is led by an executive board and is composed of departmental chapter representatives. These representatives, along with those from Special Interest Groups (SIGs), make up what is known as the UGSA Council.

Committees

The UGSA has several internal committees to address student concerns. The university also has several standing committees that benefit from graduate student participation. UGSA representatives and executive officers participate in these meetings to represent graduate student interests.
